Each figure is that engine's own published monthly-user figure as a share of all nine combined. Nine, not seven: Grok and DeepSeek are in the denominator even though Koalr does not track them, which is why Koalr's own total stops at 96.3% rather than 100%. Audiences overlap — one person can use Google AI Overviews, Gemini and ChatGPT in the same month — so this is relative reach, not a count of unique people. Meta AI is excluded: at roughly 1.2bn monthly users but 40m daily, it is incidental exposure inside WhatsApp and Instagram with no citation surface a brand can be visible in.
